Whose Skids Are These?

thinkthrice's picture

Had 3 applicants over the last 2 days (who apparently can't read either--my ad says credit score of 600 required minimum) apply to one of my apartments and here are their credit scores:

451,  489, 460

Ages 53,  36, 27 respectively.   I.just.can't.  If I had a credit score like that I would be embarrassed to apply.

I just keep hearing the fail horn from The Price is Right.

Drop the ages to 24 and you would have Little Idiot. I'm positively sure her credit score is in the 400's. She's hit a dead end with all her spending, and credit limits and can't pay her bills anymore.

As to how many people are out there like this!  These are the same people on Tik Tok complaining about having to work more than 20 or 30 hours a week!   And the one that is 54 years old definitely should know better.

People my age went out and got two or three jobs to make ends meet during the dreaded stagflation under the Carter years.  I'm guessing  LI will just file bankruptcy at some point.

Yup I'm she won't increase her work hours because she thinks 15 hrs a week is enough, even though she can't pay her bills. She spent all that money on cr@p too. DoorDash all the time because she's too lazy to go out. Clothing and makeup and shoes.  Hair and nails done regularly as well as other expensive "treatments". She thought she had business buying. Brand new vehicle on her salary. Has to live in a luxury apartment... it goes on and on. Meanwhile where is the "earning" of any of this stuff? The working extra hours, the studying to get good grades? No she just wants it handed to her. It makes me sick to think of how much free money from the government/Pell grant she just wasted over the past 5 years.

Yeah, once she figures out bankruptcy, she will just file it and start over.

To be fair. people with those kinds of credit scores are probably not aware of them.. or how to check them..lol

Those credit scores sound like something from a skid the Disneyland Dad and his beastly trifling meddling conniving breeder produced.

Or they are desperate enough to try anyway just in case you adjust your standards for them.

Unless they're really willing to help themselves, The lower the credit score = the drier the well of personal resources imo
