It NEVER goes away totally. For example, yesterday Chef received a "your kid has super duper detention one month into the school for EPIC homework ignoring and then SKIPPING the very DETENTION he was assigned to make up said multiple missing homework assignments" note.

This was for Prince Hygiene, (YSS stb 13) and of course, homework/classwork was never, ever enforced over at the Girhippo's house nor with Chef for that matter when he was having his entitlement training session, errrr I mean "visitation" with the "angels."

Multiple choice question:

Upon reading the note Chef:

1. Remarks that Prince Hygiene is turning into yet another ne'er do well like his older siblings and winces in disgust.

2. Is disgusted that the PASed out children of the Girhippo are the biggest underachievers considering that she IS MOTY according to FB.

3. Noticed that the school administrator that sent the note didn't cross his "Ts" on the word "detention" which was used in the note about three times, then tossed the note into the wood stove.

I'm pretty sure the poor

I'm pretty sure the poor beleaguered administrator wrote the note in sheer frustration and haste. All three of Chef's kids received these notes almost immediately after starting the school year and every year in a row.

Then the Girhippo blames it on "learning disabilities" when in fact, these kids have NO problem learning the latest top 40 songs, lines in a play, video games, etc. Anything that is FUN!! They are allowed to have continual school night sleepovers at friends house. So much so that I've often joked with Chef that his massive CS should be going to the skid's friends parents and NOT the Girhippo!

To me, this is NOT a learning disability but a lack of parenting aka teaching kids from an early age that not EVERYTHING in life is going to be a goddamn three ringed circus!!
