Well, the kids all arrived Dec 24 and left the 27th.
All were very kind and nice to me. They were quite interested in My life of course and my children, grands, educations etc etc. My hobbies & business etc. How lomg I've been a widow, questions about MY likes & dislikes..just general conversations NOTHING to prying YET LOL
I know FH had a chat with them about "US" before I arrived, as some of you suggested, and of course they wanted the ENTIRE STORY--how we met etc etc. We told them a little until the grands were in bed the first night , then they asked for more info .. and did we want to share more info about future plans LOL..FH told them, we will in time, we just took it up to where we are now & me Moving in permanently this Spring!!

They stayed 3 days & 3 nights all seemed happy and got along good. I didn't know if it was because of dad or just them trying to be cool or maybe thats how they behave in company. After they left. FH said they were calm NOT as wild as they usually are when alone with him, but its usually one or two never all 5 like this time. LOLOL
I cooked along with DAD and the food was perfect and Tons of it, I made it extra special making sure each had something dad told me they liked, and made a Name Cookies( with the grands) for the seating (table) I made huge Ginger bread men & wrote out their names on them.( I do this for every holiday always have )And set up a separate table for the Grands next to the adult table. The Ladies..helped clear & cleaned up after their kids and the meals. which wsa nice. The guys watched the little ones while they did it..FH told them we did all the cooking they had clean UP LOL worked out well !!
Each family ( FH adult children) brought me gifts. A couple of $50.00 Gift Cert, and Nice perfume sets, book, nail set, And gave dad and me a cert for Outback steakhouse. LOL also Gloves & a hat set I guess they knew it would be cold & coming from FL.I might NOT own those..I had to laugh about that. They all seemed happy with their gifts. And we had extra things this year for them since they all came for the first time TOGETHER in years !! Plus I had custom made each Momma & child a apron and embroidered their names on them and made chef hats for the kids also..and we bought them child size utensials from Foodnetwork. a set for each family with kids.. And made FH one with a collage of all their Pictures growing up and his name embroidered on the top!! They loved that, his eyes actually swelled up!
So, so far all is going good. they called & thanked us last night..Said it was one of the best Christmas's they had since the parents "Divorce" ..So that made me feel good...I guess I'll have to wait & see, since this is all so new and they were on their best behavoir honeymoon period i think LOLOL

The younger grand children warmed up and the 6 yr old even complimented me on my outfit LOLOL. That was so cute !!
