My SD11 is on her way to this...the only thing I can even do at this point is nothing. Nothing. Nothing. If she starts with the BO then I am prepared to tell her to move away from me or not allowed in my car. I will be direct. If BM (who doesn't seem to care about ANY of this, just like your situation - I had to teach them how to wash their faces, use a washcloth, and don't think they have ever cleaned their ears, etc., etc., etc.) or DP doesn't do this I am not.

I told DP that if he and BM allow SD11 to get her ears pierced this summer, then HE ALONE will be trying to get her to clean her ears and deal with infections. I was so pissed when I heard that it was being considered! She can't get herself in a shower more than 1x per week and it's assumed she'll be ok cleaning newly pierced ears 2x a day? Yeah, right.

BO is kicking, dandruff, ears full of black heads and wax and the toenails have to be cut along with ear cleaning Ew... I just threw up a little in my mouth. That is freaking disgusting!

When I was leaving my building for lunch today, I was walking down the hall that the GED classrooms are in and one of the classroom doors was open and I could literally smell the stench of someone in there with massive amounts of BO... from the hallway!! My land, if I can smell you in the hall, you can certainly smell YOURSELF... how can anyone stand to live like this???? And what kind of parent allows this???

I can only imagine what your BM looks like/smells like :O

SO asked me once when I was giving him my .2 about his smelly kids “what should he do”? I told him the first thing I would do would be to start date marking the bottle of dandruff shampoo to track the usage. I went on to explain if that didn’t work then he needed to put on his bathing suit, tell the skids to get theirs on and tell them since they were babies he was going to re-teach them “how to shower”. I told him if he kept a straight face that the skids would literally shit thinking he was going to get in the shower with them, lol. The boy has to be sent back to the shower all the time because he doesn’t wash his hair. KILLS ME. I have no patience for crap like that.

And yes, the BM is a slob with poor dressing habits. I swear if you all saw the outfits they showed up in on Christmas you would die laughing-hell I am still laughing. MY SO was upset that we didn’t get any pictures in front of the tree before gifts were opened. I almost pissed myself laughing because he literally wanted a picture to preserve the plaid on plaid outfit and the ever so prominent camel toe.
