Hello steps! Just getting home from a week of vacation. Thought I would update a few things. Dh and I decided to compromise on how to vacation this year. Me and my bios spent the first few days alone and had a wonderful time. Met up with dh and ss15 last two days to do a amusement park altogether. It was horrible. The ss was rude, hateful, and just as spoiled as ever. It caused two huge fights by the end of the trip between me and dh (this kid and his mom are only two things we never can find a happy resolution on). I honestly can't stand this kid. He is never made to behave or follow rules. His dad is a Disney dad. And the kid is a fake. He's all nice until his dad isn't around or has gotten what he wants. I have his number now and it doesn't work on me so I was the awful stepmom for standing up to him when I had to ( I'm disengaged except for the interest of my own bios when he's around because he is so mean to them at times). Then we are heading back home and the inlaws want us to come by and see them. Of course the BM has to show up to stay in the middle of everything going on. I stayed a couple hrs then left ( I was in my own car). I'm not playing happy family with all this. Of course which started another huge fight on the way home. I think I'm happier apart from him. I think my kids are too away from his son. I don't see us moving back in together anytime soon. I don't like playing house with an ex wife and a kid that acts like that. Dh won't respect boundaries. I don't know what to do uh!!
