There's a new show on ABC called "Modern Family" & by chance we watched it the other night. The grandfather (Jay) on the show is played by Ed O'Neill (best known as Al Bundy on "Married...with Children) & he recently married a much younger woman who has a young son (Manny). There was a great scene where Jay & Manny are working on a project together just before Manny's father comes to pick him up to take him to Disney World. Manny is going on & on about how wonderful his father is.

We recently got Dish Network after not having TV for several years & have gotten into this show on A&E called "Hoarders". Well, after "Hoarders" is a show called "Paranormal State". We've seen parts of it & I almost fell off the couch when I saw one of the girls on the show. Her name is "Eilfie" & my God, she is a dead ringer for BM!!! She's short, kind of chunky (or at least wears unflattering clothes or something), wears lots of black, has piercings, wears way too much dark makeup (kind of goth looking), has these big, ruddy cheeks & has dark hair.

I saw this & immediately thought of BM & her sucking down the pixie sticks at SD9's birthday two years ago. (Meanwhile, lecturing the kids on how bad high fructose corn syrup was!)

I'm really antsy & nervous this morning. I've never had to go to court before. I've been IN the court here because I work for the Sheriff's Dept. & go over there occasionally. Our deputies work there, too, so it's all connected. ANYWAY...in about an hour my husband will meet me here at work & we'll be heading over. Can't wait to get this over with already!!! Wish us luck!
