So i was spending some qt time with my stepkids this past week and we went shopping and did other things. I took them to JCP to look for clothes for their christmas pictures and while we were there we ran into santa. My ss was not the least bit amused, he was like santa yah right, and my sd was scared to even be close to him. She looked at him as if it was her first time seeing santa. My ss is 8 and sd is 6. Anyways after geting her to talk to them she was still afraid after we left.

Today the bm took my ss to a new theme park for his special day. First off let's start my saying his bf said that he wanted to be the one to take him for his special day, so it's odd that she was the one that ended up taking him. Once my ss got home and was getting ready for bed, he was letting me know that his bm made it very clear that i was to wash and return the new clothes that he came home in the next day with him when he returned to her house. The fact that she said that didn't bother me but the way that he told me she insisted that it was done did.

So after talking with my husband tonight, i find out that he has had a nice conversation with his ex about the kids and watever else they have decided to talk about. Now this conversation took place two days ago in the early afternoon apparently when he was at work. Here's the problem that i have, my husband and i have been together for about 3 years now and married for a little over a year. In the begining of our relationship there was alot of drama, lies, etc regarding him and his ex and them not be over each other.

So i'm married to a man that had a previous relationship with a woman for 8 years. They had two kids from their relationship. They were never married but were engaged. The relationship ended when the ex left him for his best friend. As a result my husband has gone through his ups and downs for the first coule of years after there split. We got together a little over a year after their split. Needles to say his ex doesn't like me and has made that very clear, but also tries to find excuses to justify her feeling that way.

Anniversary

Ok so today is our 1 year anniversary and it's defintely not what i expected when i said "I Do". My husband had to work the earlier part of the day but was off for the evening. I was spending some qt time with the kids. We went shopping, and watched movies, and got lunch. So my husband comes home with a card and a gift for our anniversary. It was a good card and pretty picture frame. I was really just surprised that he got anything. So the night goes on and were all hanging out doing our own things, no problem's that's fine. Here's the thing that got under my skin.
