a strange turn of events

BM has been very restrictive with the parenting time that BF can have. They still do not have a court order or a signed agreement but they finally go to mediation this Sunday.

Around July 5th, BF asked if he could start overnights (BM was offering more hours on Sunday) with his BS 8 months and BM responded back on July 8 "I will not consent to overnights". Okay fine we can wait until after baby turns one in November as they all ready agreed. Now get this, BF's brother got married on July 19 and there was a family get together the night before at BF's parents house. BM agreed we could have baby that evening and most of the day of the wedding (baby was the ring bearer). Days before the wedding BM emails and states since its a special occation we can have baby overnight. We were going ot be staying in her area in a hotel for the wedding. WOW - how nice of her considering less then 10 days before she would not consent to overnights. Here's the kicker, BM emailed earlier this week and offered BF the "opportunity" to care for baby while she is out of state for 6 days. Of course, we said yeah. No problem - we are totally equiped to take baby at a moments notice.

What I find interesting is that BM is going back to the place she got in trouble with BF for cheating and going to sex parties, etc. BM has a boyfriend and they live together but BM refuses to give BF his last name. BM has met me and talked to me on numerous occations and has no problem with me so why is she hiding her new man?

hiding him.........I dont need to tell ya that! Sounds like you are getting ready to become a permanent babysitter.

Apparently, BM's new man is recently divorced and has 3 kids and the 16 year old lives with BM and her new man and baby.

We have no problem having baby here full-time. I am lucky that I work from home so daycare is not an issue and my BF is very hands on with our BD12 and my other kids (my BS16 and BD7). My other kids are older so they can help a little too. The only problem we have now is that our house is a bit of a construction zone. We have only lived here a little over a month and have several projects going with no end in site for a while.

I am confused.............you said "our BD12". If the baby in question is 8 months, and you 2 have a 12 yo, is this baby a product of an affair? Just wondering cause that may change my total take on the whole thing......

My BF adopted my BD12 so now she is our BD12. The baby is her half brother. My BF would never cheat. His EW did enough of that for a whole city. Baby's paternity was questioned and tested so we know for sure. Plus he is the spitting image of BF.
