I saw this story online this morning and wanted to share. Since BM has shown she is a 'letter writer' and thinks she is better than everyone else, I fear this may be my Step Sons future. I could totally see BM doing this to some poor girl that happens to fall in love with her son but does not meet her standards - hell she has sent BF a few of these regarding me...

just for the record if BM ever did/does that to SS and I found out - I would have been/would be the one to fwd it to everyone Smile

Funny, I posted about this yesterday. She reminds me of my EX stepmom. That woman was somethin else. I never got emails like this... but she would send lectures through my dad about how rude my sisters and I are... lectures complete with notes and everything. LOL. Maybe this is her, and she has moved on to new stepkids.

I feel pretty bad for the bride, her fiance should have given her some warning or something at LEAST. Maybe this SMIL is out of line, but the fiance totally failed to protect his future wife. I'm sure he is aware of his SM's personality or cultural "manner" issues. He could have told his future bride to expect MIL to throw a fit. (or suggested for her to send a thank you card or whatever to his family if that was such a big deal)

I'm kinda with snickersgal on this one...and I thought the same thing when I read this yesterday. I wondered if there wasn't more to the story. Maybe the future smil just lost it over this little princess sleeping till noon and wanting to rent a castle to get married in. Even though she and her parents don't have a pot to piss in. And why would you forward an email like that to everyone you know? If the girl is blameless, she would have been really hurt and unlikely to share the email with the world.
