Nobody likes her...Oh well...
So my two cousins are still here with me. Last night I took them and one of my girl friend's daughters to skate night.
DH called MIL to see if she wanted to spend some time with SD (which she rarely does), and her response was don't we have friends for SD to spend time with?
It wasn't that we were trying to go out or get rid of SD, we were going to be home...and DS was home with us...DH just thought she needed a change of scenery, and I suggested MIL since she's supposed to be GMOTY...We didn't care either way at the end of the day...
DH couldn't get a word in edgewise on the phone...He kept saying it's not a big deal...Just wanted SD to have a change of scenery and spend time with her...She kept saying, "Does Shielded have other friends that have daughters? Do you have a friend with kids?" Etc...Etc...
What pissed me off the most is that I wanted to scream NOOOOOO WE DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS FOR SD!! Why? Because she's pissed them off, and the kids AND PARENTS don't want to deal with her...DH has a good friend with a daughter SD's age, and she spent time with her twice. The little girl at the end was just flat out saying NO...I don't want to play with her. The last time they played, it was at our house, and we invited the little girl over...The little girl was literally running away from SD and sitting under me the whole time to keep from being around her...It was a mess...The OTHER play date I scheduled was with one of my friends (wrong move) and their 2 daughters. SD acted such a fool and was so mean to the girls that their mother pulled me aside and pretty much said don't invite them over again to play with SD...It was an even bigger mess...Their mother and I were literally cracking up laughing, but she was serious...She was shocked at SD's behavior...
So no, we don't JUST have folks for her to play with...Just like she doesn't have friends to play with at school...NOBODY likes her! My cousins avoid her, and now my girl friend's daughter is avoiding her...
The fact that nobody likes her really hurts DH's feelings, but dang it is what it is. She's old enough to understand consequences, but she acts JUST like her mother who has very few friends...The fruit doesn't fall too far from the tree...
