New update - police action

new update - while DH and I were at dinner, SS and girlfriend had big fight at our house - yelling and breaking things. SS broke her computer so she called the police, SS left because police were coming and called dh on his cell so that we could enjoy all the fun. By the time we got home - everyone was out of our house and police were in the driveway for us to deal with. We got to entertain them while they tried to contact victim (GF). DH got her on the phone and got her to not press charges against SS. DH paid for new computer, I cleaned up the broken dishes in the house and everything is peachy now. GF comes over and everyone acts like this never happened. Meanwhile - I called a therapist because I am going to explode! I have not sail one word to GF - she had the police at my house and left me to deal with them while DH was on the phone with her.

Ummm i think its time for her

Ummm i think its time for her to leave.
You need to talk to your ss and his gf,
tell them that you are not happy with what happend the other day and that for a while she cant come over.
Explain to the both of them that you and your Dh trusted them to stay at home while you were out, and you were not expecting to come home to the police.

You need to put your foot down and you cant be a door mat, that is YOUR house and they both need to RESPECT that as well as your feelings.

Fine if they act like nothing happend but you don't need to do the same.

Time for SS to join the

Time for SS to join the Marines. For sure he needs to be out of your house.

I would have let the Police haul him off for Domestic Violence charges.

If he wants to play like a big boy, he can bear the big boy consequences of his actions.

IMHO of course.

My intention was to attend either West Point or Annapolis for college, then to have a military career. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes while I was going through the Congressional Appointment process and was unable to qualify medically.

So I went the private sector route for my career.

I would have loved to do the Military Officer thing but as for being a recruiter, I don't think they could afford me these days.

I am trying to get the recruiters to come get my kid (SS) off of my sofa. We shall see if he is still wrestling the couch when I get home from China or if the recruiters have managed to bundle him off to Boot Camp or Basic Training.

I can only hope.
