We're all kind of tired and crabby. 4 christmases, Yule, New years, birthday parties etc. It's been a long week or 3. The kids have been at each other for the last 4 or 5 days and he's busy kissing the skids asses. I'm sick, so my normal threshold for skid/kid crap is at an all time low.

(It's lots of little annoying things) 10 and almost 9... He's listing off every available foodstuff in the house for them to have for lunch. Because apparently only our 4 year old is capable of locating his own food. Then they get snippy at each other over belongings, so I take belongings away (the way it's always been) and he's going out of his way to find the skids something else fun to do. Newsflash- if they weren't scrapping over things to begin with, they wouldn't be taken.

Also, I VERY rarely drink alcohol. I can count on one hand the number of times I've drank in their presence in the last year. But today it was either drink it, or crack him with the bottle. I think I made the right choice... lol Nobody gives me grief about drinking, it's too rare. I also don't hide it. I don't make a huge production, but I don't sneak it.

They go back to mommy's Monday. Then we'll get a bit of a break and things will likely settle down again. They'll get more of their drama worked out at school.

I'm going to live vicariously through you, even though you posted this yesterday. I'm substituting with a really yummy oreo mcflurry, because I can't have a drink for another 4 months, and I know when I leave work...MSH will be at home trying to mother my STB 1yo. Ugh.

But an oreo mcflurry sounds lovely Smile
