How's everyone?

No new Stepdevil15 news to share other than the fact that she claims she's making A's and B's in school (she told FIL this recently), but her A's and B's are in Choir and Spanish. She's failing every other class, with a D in Study Hall. How does one get a D in study hall? How do they even GRADE study hall?

Update on crazy FIL and "L". They got married on St. Patrick's day at a courthouse. FIL promptly called DH and asked why we were the only ones who hadn't called to congratulate him! We'd just seen them on Sunday (so one day before they got married!) and told them as long as they were happy, we're happy for them. Frankly, "L" is 12 years his junior, and a hairdresser with 2 very spoiled adult daughters and a special needs grandson whom no one in their family can afford to support. So, since FIL had to open his big mouth about his cool million in the bank on their VERY FIRST DATE a year ago, guess who is just "so in love"??? LMAO She doesn't even hold his hand or sit near him when we're visiting them. Can you all say GOLDDIGGER!!!!!

So yeah, not much else is new other than my obsession with moving out of CO to CA. Yes, I know it's expensive, crowded, the laws are crazy, gas is outrageous, there's gangs and traffic and smog and earthquakes. I still want to move there and so does DH, so we're going to do our best to make it happen this year. If all goes well, we should be able to move by October when our lease is up here. Sure, money will be much tighter there, but we're BORED here. Totally bored and so over winters that if I have to scrape off my truck one more time I'm gonna scream!!!
