Dad, Gangster Dad and the kid turns 20.
So, yesterday was SS's 20th birthday. When I spoke to him around 12:00 (Noon his time) there had been no call from anyone in the SpermClan. Pretty typical for those toothless dipshits. I doubt anyone even bothered to call him at all. ASSHOLES!!!!!
I was able to spend almost a week with him ending a few days before his birthday. He truly is a good young man with everything he needs from any intellectual and character perspective to be an outstanding man of standing in his community and his profession for his entire adult life.
It is hard to believe that the 15mo old little tow headed guy I chased ducks with around the golf course when his mom and I were dating is now a 20yo self-sufficient young adult. Time certainly flies. I have to pat his mom and I on the back. We done good raising him.
While we were together he was recounting some conversations he has had with his office (shop) mates regarding his family. When he was leaving to join us at my parents last week he was asked which family he was going to visit. He indicated that his answer was "My mom and dad and my Deema and Deepa. Not my Gangster Dad." Apparently in his stories with his co-workers he refers to me as "My Dad" and he refers to DipShit as "My Gangster Dad". 
That's my boy!!! I am proud to be his REAL dad and I am thankful that he clearly knows that I am his REAL dad.
As some background.... DipShit has always had the goal of being a black gangster rapper. The problem is that he is not a gangster, is not black and he can't rap. Other than that I guess being a black gangster rapper is a fine goal to have. This is why SS refers to him as "Gangster Dad".
All 4 of the SpermIdiot's out of wedlock children are embarrassed by him and think he is pathetic. BTW all of his children are out of wedlock by three different baby mamas.
I am proud of my son but sad that he is saddled with this idiot and his entire family. But, my kid will succeed and prosper despite the shallow and polluted end of his gene pool. His mom and I raised him well.

You know our stories have paralleled since I met you. From the out of wedlock 17 year old pregnant girl that was me (that was your wife as well), the four siblings by different mothers, the "gangster" reference even. (I wonder what that's about) I have the same son, only 4 years younger. He's found his calling in track, I've never seen him so focused and determined.

As crazy as this blended family/Sparenting thing can be, it really can work out well for the most part. I am fortunate that my wife let me have a meaningful, active and equity role as my kid's dad.
As for the gangster thing..... I have no idea what this guy is thinking. In fact, I see no evidence that he does think.
