Dear Valued Users,

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.

This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.

We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.

How about we create a National SParent Guilt Day?

We can also petition to create a SParent Guilt tax. United we can promote virtuous self loathing so we can join our Skids and the blended family opposition who loath Sparents with self loathing of our own and grow global shame and loathing for SParents everywhere. We can do the same for BioParents married to SParents to grow self shame, and loathing in them as well. On top of the guilt so many of them have. Shame, loathing, and guilt for whatever the opposition and kids want to loath the BioParent and their mate for.

Hey, they perpetrate this, why not get on board wit self loathing and guilt. They say it so it has to be true. Right?

Nope. Not really.

Ridiculous right. So why do we do this. Why do we tolerate this. IMHO, it is better to end it with immediate confrontation of the crap. The loathing of the opposition and the kids they PAS is not ours to carry. We should have no guilt.
