This morning I have been reflecting on our 16+ year adventure in dealing with the SpermIdiot and the SpermClan.
My wife gave me a desk top photo album/stand for our 16th anniversary. Today I flipped the pictures and there is a picture of my kid (SS-18) from 12-12-94. What a great hid he is was and is. Except for the teen thing that he may yet live through he is a truly outstanding young man. My wife and I are proud to be his mom and dad.
As for the SpermClan.......
I can sum the entire 16+ years up in one sentence. Be reasonable, work with us, or suffer!
Since they are toothless drooling dip shits, you can guess which decision the SpermClan made.
I have been happy to support and enforce their choice to suffer. 
Those who can have drinks with the blended family opposition, have joint celebrations, be friends, work together and generally keep an adult rational perspective are truly outstanding parents regardless of which parental prefix applies(Bio/Step ....). You are also outstanding people of outstanding character. I wish all children had parents (bio or step) with such outstanding character.
We have on several occasions picked up the entire travel costs for a visitation when the SpermClan was unable to afford the few hundred $'s their half of the plane ticket would cost. We have on more than one occasion given up some of our vacation time with our son in SpermLand so that the SpermClan could have a few days with the kid that they would have otherwise missed. Only to have them get shitty with us about wanting more and more and more time, harassing us to drop CS entirely so that they could afford to feed the SpermIdiots three younger also out-of-wedlock spawn, etc, etc, etc......
They trained me to use the term "sucks to be you" and to tell them if they were not too stupid to learn from their mistakes that they would be able to provide a better life for the SpermIdiot spawn.
After my morning reflections, once again it is obvious that the only ones who truly suffer from an idiot parent is the kids.
Too bad there is no requirement to have a license to breed. You have to have a license to drive, a license to fly a plane, a license to be a craftsman, have degrees to be a doctor, lawyer, engineer, etc... but the most important responsibility a person can have requires ZERO qualification.
Any idiot with a dick can stuff it in anyone willing to accept it and pump out endless shoals of children and be a parent. Not necessarily a good parent, but a parent none the less. And often these people get paid by the taxpayers to breed!

The 3 (SpermIdiot spawn 2, 3 and 4) half sibs live with SpermGrandMa and SpermGrandPa.
BabyMaMa#2 is currently married with SKids of her own and at least three kids of her own making. Her oldest is pre SpermIdiot, her #2 is SpermIdiot spawn #2 and she has at least one with her current victim. She dumped #2 on SpermGrandMa's doorstep because her Skids do not like spawn #2. BBMM#2 lives a few blocks from SpermGrandMa
BabyMaMa#3 abandoned SpermIdiot spawn #3 and #4 with the SpermIdiot who promptly dumped them on SpermGrandMa's door step.BBMM#3 lives an hour or two away from SpermGrandMa.
The SpermIdiot has full custody of numbers 3&4. BBMM#2 has custody of spawn #2.
My bride has custody of spawn #1 who has always lived with us. We have never lived closer than 1500miles to SPermLand since my wife moved out of state for school when SS was 1yo.
Wow! I confused myself on this one. The SpermIdiot's next GF should be Elena Bobbit. That would keep things from getting even more complicated.

Rags, you said it PERFECTLY. This is how I have strongly fealt for sooooooooo long. This became even more disturbingly apparent to me when DH and I went to go get married. We met with the "Rev. X" several times over the period of a couple months for a sort of "interview" process. We spoke with him about our history together, how we would react in certain scenarios, what we want for our future, etc etc etc. He then sent what he thought about the strength of our relationship to the highest Rev. for the state, he reviewed the info, then hadto give his blessing for our marriage then "Rev. X" gave HIS blessing and we could then get married. I thought to myself through the whole process, how the frig can this be such a long and involved process and all BM had to do was spread her legs and BOOM there's a baby! No forethought, no planning, nothing. I honestly do believe with every fiber of my being that there should be SOME sort of process for people to go through before they can reproduce. There is no excuse for it....

You know-honestly that sounds great in theory but it would never be possible-and I dont' think I want the government dictating who can/should have children. Otherwise I shoudl just move to China
It's sad for humanity but reporduction was never meant to or should be controlled by outside entities.
Think about it-if you gave them that liberty and interference grows, who sets the standards, what if they get stricter, what if they say poor people shouldn't have children..isn't that like class/human selection? That's a scarier thought to me then dealing with the consequences of a fallen world. JMO.
On the same token I wish they would encourage more parenting classes. I still don't want a liscence or gvmnt mandating human choices....but then I'm libertarian leaning

I certainly understand that
I certainly understand that selective breeding in humans is not a good idea.
However, that does not mean that there are not people who have no business breeding.
The disqualifyer should be character based. That is it.
If a person does not have a verifyable minimum quality of character, no breeding.
My parents would not allow me to breed if I was anything like the SpermIdiot. In fact by body would have fertilized the rose bushes if I was anything like my Skid's SpermIdiot. My parents would not have subjected society to even the remotest prossibility that I would breed.
The gov't would have no need to be involved in the decision for my parent's children to breed.

Too bad to act on the phrase "I brought you in to this world and I can take you out" is not an inaliable right to all parents regardless of the age of their children. I know a few adults that should be culled from the societal herd for nothing more than they should not be allowed to breed due to their complete lack of character or any redeeming human quality. As often as we use the term it should be legal to act upon.
One of my father's closes friends has two son's who have turned out to be worthless beyond any description. I have heard him say several times "If I had known how my kids would turn out I would have had a vasectomy when I was 12".
Just joking on the license to breed thing of course. However cool it might be.

Retroactive abortion of the SPermIdiot would be better. But, that would do away with my Skid so I will enjoy ridiculing the SpermIdiot and suffer the existence of the SpermClan.
