Guilty much?

I blogged that bm wanted ss15 to live with us b/c he and bm couldn't get along. Anyway she changed her mind but I knew she would.

Fast ward to last night bm texted dh saying she HAD to buy ss15 a pair of $130 shoes.

this is how it went--

BM: I HAD to buy ss15 a pair of $130 shoes today.

DH: WHY?

BM: Ss15 IS a jock now and he HAS an image to up hold!

Dh: What? That is so stupid. He has a good pair of shoes and nothing wrong with them.

BM: Can you pay for half?

Dh: NO and you could have gotten him a good pair of shoes for around $60 or so.

BM: FINE I'll remember this.

Then bm started in with a bunch of texts about How god gave her ss15 and that he is right where he needs to be and he will not be going anywhere.

There were about 4 texts similar. Can you say GUILTY!

And just for the record dh normally doesn't pay for half of the clothes and shoes she buys at her house as we have to buy things for our house for them. Why she asked is b/c she knew she couldn't afford them.

He has an image? Can kids still get working papers at 13???? If not he is 15, he can mow grass, rake leaves, shovel snow to uphole that image of his!!!!

I agree that ss15 should get a job! BM will not allow that though. However it is HER fault as she is the one that is pushing this image thing. This was her idea to get him these shoes and claim he has an image to up hold. I think she bought him the shoes b/c she feels guilty about wanting him to live with us.
