DH's trip to see Puke

over step's picture

DH went to see Puke this weekend. I enjoyed my time alone.

When DH got home yesterday afternoon he seemed so happy to be home, saying he was happy to be back to his wife. He told me several times that although he was happy to see Puke, he missed me a lot.

Puke spent Saturday with DH and from what it sounds like BF went to supper with them that night. DH was not impressed with BF. DH met the pup and, again, was not impressed. Pup growled at DH and he reiterated to me that pup will not visit us. Puke did not spend Saturday night in the hotel with DH. Not sure what all they did other than shopping and going to the skating rink.

DH told Puke that he was not going to be taking money from his mom to do this again and he would not be able to afford to do this again for a while. He left it up to Puke to talk her mom into meeting DH at halfway drop off point. I'm guessing Puke will not do this so it will be up to DH to see her. That is until BM needs a break from Puke.

I was being a good wife, asking if he had a good time and got out of the weekend what he wanted. Shortly after that, no more was said about Puke and I was very flirty.

Oh and Puke did not loose her babysitting job after all. This is typical of Puke and BM. They have a big blow up and by the next day they are all good again.

Don't think he liked being out there without me. Especially being in the hotel by himself since Puke didn't stay with him. Guess Puke didn't care that he was going to be all alone.

I guess MIL was told by Puke some things about the pup and told us DO NOT let pup come. I didn't ask what Puke told MIL but I'm sure it's not good. Not my problem. BM can worry about it.

Is BM's daycare in the home?
If so, I don't foresee a good ending with an unfriendly dog and unfamiliar children in the house.

Yes it is. Not sure how or if it interacts with the children. Like I said, I don't know much about the pup.
