BM invited BF and me to attend a schoolwide spring carnival type event at SS's school last night. BF thought that it was just gonna be an opportunity for BM to point out "the little tramp" to all of her family and all of the other parents. But in the spirit of how well everything's been going lately, we went. I even baked a cake for the cake walk that SS's room was hosting (which got snatched up very quickly! That made me feel good ).

So when we arrived and I put down my cake, BM smiled and called over to me to get in on the cake walk. She was pleasant, and I didn't feel like I had to avoid her or be platonic with BF in front of her, so we just acted naturally. We all had to work together at times to find SS because he was busy running around the school with his friends. I didn't win anything in the cake walk, but SS and BM won a few times, and the last time they won BM asked me what I wanted on the table and let me pick something to take home.

It was interesting to see all of BM's family that I've heard so much about but never seen. Most of them just looked at me like a stranger would. None of them gave me an uncomfortable vibe (well, her brother was totally checking me out, but that's different). BM's mother even touched me on the shoulder and told me it was nice to see me. It was in a nice way, and she's a really nice lady.

While this is all so great, it's also so incredibly weird! It's like we've turned a complete 180 in the past 3 weeks.
