Toilet issues - Vent

Is it just me or should a 13 yr old know how to unplug the toilet she stopped up? Or at the very least, tell her dad?! I feel asleep early last night, SO woke me up to have me go to bed. They both have off today, but stayed at my house. I get up this morning, mainly because SO was snoring in my ear...kitchen is a mess and the spare bath is plugged up. I use my own, so I'll just be leaving that for the two of them to figure out.

I would be so embarrassed if she did this at someone's house! Grrr...Thankfully I have two....

That is plenty old enough to deal with her own shit (heh).

That being said, even if the skid cleaned up her own mess, i wouldn't trust it to be clean by my standards. I'd still send her in there with a plunger, make her clean any mess she made while unstopping the toilet. After she made the attempt, I'd go back and clean it myself. Just so I would be sure it was safe for use.

At least your SD uses toilet paper! The bathroom that SD15 uses went without toilet paper for 4 days last week. I refuse to use that bathroom (for obvious reasons)... if I am in the LR and have to go I either go upstairs to my bathroom, or downstairs to the basement bathroom. I REFUSE to use the one that she scums up. Unfortunately that is the only bathroom with a tub, so I give BS4 his baths in there which is how I know there was no toilet paper for 4 days. I don't know how someone can be soooo nasty and lazy! I mean even if BS4 happens in that bathroom and needs TP, the freaking FOUR year old will flip out that there is no TP... but the 15 year old doesn't seem to be bothered by it. GROSS!

Well...I left it there. SO gets up, gets his coffee, I didn't say a word. SD comes out of the room I have setup for her, gives me a "hey" then goes to talk quietly with her dad. They both leave the room. When SO comes back, he washes his hands and continues making breakfast. Finally, I couldn't keep my mouth shut.

"So...did you show her how to use the plunger?" He he, can't get nothing by me, SO. Well, he might have, if he hadn't been asleep in my room so I thought I would try not to wake him and use that one, which obviously didn't work out.

She requested that she be given full access to my netflix, now that she's 13. Uh...nope, if you're still going to act like a kid, then you will be treated as one. Of course, this was said in my head, but shockingly, it's also what SO said.

Somehow, she magically thinks because she's 13 she makes good choices. Oy. I have to ask my mom if I had this delusion.
