So this is our everyother visitation weekend that will extend to Tuesday. After last night working so well by not asking about SS I decided to take the same road today knowing that the SK's will be coming tonight. ANyway, I messaged my DH to tell him I loved him..awwwwww nice I know right?:) anyway this is how the convo went.....

Me: I love you Hubby!!!
DH: I love you too
Me:
DH: What does your day look like?
****I know why he is asking this, because I HAD BEEN making life easier on him by picking up SS
Me: Crazy busy. Trying to get something to eat now. And yours?
DH I gotta pick up ****(SS)
Me: ok
DH: I just ate
Me: What time do you get off the train?
DH: 5
Me: Ok. I will make sure to tell ***(BS) to make sure he is ready to walk out of the door on time.
*****DH coached BS in basketball and they have practice tonight.
Me: Do you need me to meet you at practice with him (BS) maybe?
DH: I will call
Me: ok. just let me know whatcha need. Take it easy and try not to let work stress you too much and remember I am in your corner.

SO, it is now about the time that DH is on the train and I haven't heard from him. I am not picking up SS. I will take BS and meet DH at practice if that is what he needs me to do because BS IS MY responsibility. Also, DH didn't say anything about picking up SD tonight, maybe she is not coming till tomorrow after her therapy.......but I didn't ask, he didn't tell, and it isn't my problem. I know this may sound a lil petty, but it is what I said I would do. Put the responsibility of his kids back on him. I am purposely keeping myself busy at work till the end of the day, so I have just enough time to get my BS to practice to meet DH if I need to.

None the less, I am proud of myself that I didn't play into his game. I figure he is an adult, if he needs my help he should ask for it. If he does in enough time I may go get SS as that wouldn't bother me too much.
