Merry Christmas to everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a beautiful time

We have been celebrating Christmas since Monday lol. We had my bios on Monday because they are all going to Europe with their dad for Christmas. They are all adults and I am excited for them but kinda sad today is the first Christmas I haven't spent with them ever!!! But we had a fantastic time on Monday :).

Then the skids and grand babies were over yesterday so I had another full dinner and celebration to do. It was lots of fun. All the grand babies are around the same age (almost 2) so they had a blast opening presents. SD14 loved all her gifts. It was another nice day. Then BM dumps her crazy and puts a damper on it. I don't understand it but she has been hell bent to NOT have SD14 for Christmas yes I said NOT have her. :jawdrop:

She pulls this every holiday so we're used to it but we never oblige her. They way we see it she should have her daughter on the holiday. They have a EO week schedule so the only holiday that is spelled out is Christmas. They switch Christmas Eve and day every year. Every year she tries to get out of taking her for Christmas because she couldn't afford to buy her any presents. Same story every year and we never do it. SO ignores her texts but it makes him so mad. So yesterday she texts one of the SD's to ask her dad if SD14 can stay with us and we drop her off tomorrow day after Christmas. SD pulled SO aside and was livid because her mom who is raising 3 of her BF's little kids managed to scam someone to get presents for them but nothing for SD so that's why she didn't want her to come over.

So SD went back to her BM's and she will come back home to us on Monday. I felt bad for her but I plan all year long to make sure she has a nice Christmas and knowing my kids were traveling on Christmas I planned a day for me and SO to take my mind off of it. It would mean canceling all my plans to let BM off the hook on having her daughter for Christmas. I just don't understand these BM's :? Oh and neither her or her BF work they live off CS SO pays BM and the government. But I guess Christmas is a big huge surprise every freaking year so she never has money for it.
