BM Calls CPS on us??? !!!

Sad Sad Last week I had a feud (through text message) with my dh ex-wife, about half naked pics and texts that she send my dh...I also told her husband....so she got really mad that I busted her game wide open because up to that point I have never said anything to her, I have always talked to my dh....But since then she pulls her "I dont want my kids around HER" card! and this time she said that she called CPS on us! On what grounds? My dh said she told them because she does not feel that our home is a safe!!!! Can she make false claims like this? I have two children 1 year and a 1 month old.. I dont want to be associated with this kind of stuff, I have never been in any kind of trouble as a kid or as an adult, but this stuff makes me uneasy ...havin my name/address in a CPS record ....We have not gotten any letters or calls from anyone yet .....

Don't worry. CPS deals with these sort of retaliatory things ALL. THE. TIME. It's practically part of their job description to determine whether the claim is true or not.

If you DO get a call/visit from CPS, just cooperate politely. They have to do their job. My friend is a CPS worker and she constantly sees this happen -- one parent does it just to retaliate/try to embarrass the other parent. CPS will quickly see the game and the BM can actually have charges brought up against HER for false accusations.

Yep! Know it well! Happens ALL the time.

Our BM (who happens to be a CPS worker in her county) did this to us.

She, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES, will tolerate biodad disciplining, teaching, instructing or having small chores for HER children.

He is to be just a non-parental status babysitter. I am to be an invisible doormat with 100% responsibilty and 0% authority.

Took me six months to overturn THAT kangaroo court (she illegally had it sent to the NYS Child Abuse and Maltreatment Registry without us getting a copy of the report. . .clerical error it seems Wink Yeah RIGHT!)

She claims that she also has a lawyer and is filing for full custody...Can this be true? I thought she already had full custody and dh just had visitation (1st, 3rd, 5th, and which thanksgiving and christmas)??? Child support was through attorney general office NOT the courts! And the divorce was done through "Legal Zoom" website because cs was already done and visitation was already established on paper and they didnt own anything...so that was that. Sooooo does she have full custody because she is the custodial parent? I think I just answered my own question....But that would then prove she is lying about filing for full custody??? Right? Bottom line, How can she stop him from seeing his kids? Cops dont get involved they say its a civil issue, so calling them and showing them the visitation papers wont help when we go to ge them.....Need advice from you seasoned people

ignordsm what state was this in? Did you and dh just have to show up for court and fight these lies or did you and dh also have to get a lawyer

CPS will probably come to your home and then file a report. Just be nice and answer their question. If they haven't contacted you yet, she may be bluffing. I our state you can go on the county website and see the Divorce papers to see who has custody. If DH hasn't read them I'd want to see. But it sounds like Dh papers with the cs and visition went through the ag office. BM probably file for support before the divorce was final.
