I know Im almost a week late, but I have to ask
Ok I haven't been on since feb 2012, but I have to ask others if they think that it was weird that BM did not spend mothers day with her own kids?
Now you know how your DH can play dumb sometime,...well the situation started out as ...it being our weekend to keep the kids, but he said no they are going to stay with their mom, and i was like no way its our weekend so go ahead and let them come, (I did this because if I didn't I would have to look at DH pouting and talking about how much he misses the monsters)So he said ok they can come BUT the agreement was since it was mothers day on sunday that they would go home that morning or that afternoon.....WELL
They didnt go home till damn near 9pm....and I was pissed! What do you guys think

I'm only gonna share this, but I am only saying that this is ME. (these are my bios)
I share custody 50/50. It was exH weekend/week, although technically I trump Sunday because of the holiday. I did not see my kids on Mother's Day.
Now let me explain...One, we just returned from a trip out of state visiting my bro. Spent good quality time with them for that trip. Two, ON mother's day my plans were to work in the yard. ALL DAY. My bios (being 12 and 14) would be on the internet and on their xbox for the day. I would've basically picked them up, so they could play on their stuff all day, I would've had to cook them dinner, and then drop them back off to their dad's.
I CHOSE to spend my mother's day doing what was enjoyable and relaxing. working in my yard. didn't make a full dinner, didn't hear bickering, didn't hear offers of "help" and then two minutes later wonder what happend to my "help" lol
Now IF i was gonna do ANYTHING else, I would've grabbed them up in a sec for the day.
But like I said, that's just me.

My FSS BM didn't call or anything... of course she was in jail, so I guess that is a valid excuse }:) . Oh well, I am the real mom anyway and I have an AMAZING day with my family and was showered in presents and loved the day together!
