When people mess with your man.

Does anyone else get really defensive, perhaps to the point of rage monster when people talk shit about their DH?

I do. I try to keep it inside, but inside there's a RAGE MONSTER!

It's funny, because I'm usually amused when people repeat rumors about me. It feels good to be talked about, even if it's bad, for some reason.

But people start saying shit about DH and I get all kinds of crazy!

Anyone relate?

Good thing DH has you to call them out on their BS.

With me it was that last night one of DH's old buddies from the ship heard his ex-wife (I'm stunned that these people all still talk) saying that DH was a broke deadbeat who needed to reign in his sperm.

And I'm thinking to myself "Bitch please. Only if by broke you mean 'DH wouldn't give me money without going through CSS and filed himself making me look like an ass,' and by reign in his sperm you mean 'I'm resentful that DH now has a family that will likely keep both parents because those parents made a decision to procreate together instead of me entrapping my man because I was afraid he'd leave without a breathing incentive.'"

Luckily the old buddy thought it was hilarious, and will be joining us for memorial day, but there are times when I just want to drive the thousand-plus miles just to slap her upside the head.

The BM vexes me.
