It's time for summer vacation... plans! :)

Well, as the title says, its time for summer vacation plan to be made.

This time the kid (ss9) wants to join us. (Keep in mind, he is the only kid).

He demands summer vacation to be 2 weeks long!!!!!!!!!!!! HA! Beat this one!

Im conteplating not to take vacation at all. At least not in his school holidays period.

Im not about to entertain 9yo for 2 weeks in foreign country. No fkn way.

i ALWAYS plan vacation when skids are in school and arrange for mil to watch them on our visitation days ~ which i also plan vacation over the most visitation days, i try to arrange it where we don't have to see skids for as long as possible ~ at least 10 days. }:)

The problem is, my bf wants to take his son on a summer vacation. He didnt go last year. But its really hard for me to spend my 2 weeks a year of free time with whiny 9yo.

Maybe i am just selfish.

Can you just tell your bf that you dont want to bring SS with you guys on your vacation? Tell him you just want it to be you and him. Throw out that the 3 of you can take another mini vacation somewhere fun for 2 days, that way you just have the 2 days with SS and not 2 weeks.

good luck, there would be no vaction if dh tried to force 2 weeks of skids on me, i can barely handle the visitation schedule.

can you split the 2 weeks and ss spend 1/2 with bm? go some place where bf can entertain his brat and you could do something fun solo without them ~ like shop or hang by the pool or beach.
