Thank you! He was due Dec 24th. He is 7lbs 15 ounces and 18 " long., doing well and mom too. Yucky weather kept me from going to visit today. Couple hours drive away. Grandchildren are the best. All the love without the responsibility 24/7. So great when they know you and are happy to see you.

Thank you! My first granddaughter age 6 now named me Nonie when she started talking. My two yr old grandson is trying to say it but it comes out nini sometimes. Whatever is fine. ". Just don't call me late to dinner!"

I always encouraged my kids to wait, longer than I did in having them in my early to mid twenties. I said the longer you guys wait the better grandmother I will be. Seemed to work.

I went to visit the new baby yesterday (2 hr drive) and was able to just hold him while he was sleeping for two hours. So sweet. My arm is sore today from holding it still for so long...the baby holding muscles are out of practice.
I got the see two of my other grandkids also and stayed with my other son overnight.
Wish I wasn't so far away now that the grandkids are arriving!

It is great getting to spend time with them. Congrats on your soon to be first one Outtahere!
