First yay it's Friday and they go back to their mom! Second yay SO was able to have the kids state insurance dropped from their mother and given to him so no more can she deny them a regular doctor and they can finally see a dentist! I'm proud of SO for listening and fighting for it even though dealing with government agencies is a pain, the last few texts of BM's stupidity put the nail in on her medicaid she flat out told SO that regardless if she had them on it or not if he wants to take the kids to a doc on his time he can pay for it. He questioned her who their pediatrician was he response was "F u" when asked when did they last have a yearly physical he got ignored, begging her to take their son with a rotten baby tooth to a dentist she told him to do it when he said how you won't give me a copy of the medicaid she said "f u". So when he went to try and have it dropped from her, with a copy of the parenting agreement (the wording is just a lucky shot it makes him look like residential and her with weekly visitation) and these texts he had a medicaid account in his name for the kids in 3 yes 3 days, the caseworker was appalled that BM would behave the way she did.
SO immediately contacted who he needed to to switch their PPC to a local doc (they'd never seen the one they had been assigned and that one is 2 towns away at a crappy clinic) then called the doc he was requesting explained why he was requesting her (excellent in diagnosing and treating kids with various problems which also means SO admits his son needs evaluated) he's supposed to call back next week to make sure it all went through and make an appointment. He went and picked up the paperwork to get them into the only dentist that will take the state aid so it might be a bit to get them in but these kids are finally going to get real regular care for the first time in 4 years. SO had no idea they didn't regularly see a doc, that BM only took them to the ER or prompt cares if they were bad sick
I wish I could see the look on her face when she gets her new card with just her and her other kid on it. Can't wait till the kids first doc appointment SO will be informing her of their doc the day of so she can't interfere. Maybe since it's a local doc BM will actually take the kids when they need to be seen because they are sick, probably not but can't hurt to hope.
