I think this entirely depends
I think this entirely depends up on whether you are wanting a festive and fun cocktail to enjoy with friends and family..
I've seen some lovely cranberry spritzer type cocktail recipies
Or literally the most mind numbing concoction possible in order to tolerate an invasion of inlaws and skids.
Probs moonshine or fireball or tequilia otherwise.
I have this one saved to
I have this one saved to Pinterest because it is my absolute favorite. A little labor intensive to make the syrup, but worth it! If I’m being lazy, I’ll do a variation of this with just champagne and cranberry juice and drop in some berries and sprigs of rosemary to make it look fancy.

Also love this one:

Another favorite standby is a classic Hot Toddy.
Congratulations!
We just close a few weeks ago!!! And it feels DIVINE.
I stick to the basics - egg nog, wine and shots of tequila.

If you want a serve-yourself
If you want a serve-yourself bar, you can set up mixers and fancify your liquor bottles.
Vodka/Gin/Rum/Tequila...
Place a fifth in a container that is about 2/3 the height of your liquor bottle and has about 1-inch of space all the way around.
Place the bottle in the center. Fill with water, but DO NOT cover the skinny neck of the bottle. Add some color: bits of greenery, whole cranberries, mini roases and leaves, etc. Freeze (the booze will NOT freeze).
DIP in hot water to remove the container. Be sure to keep the bottles on a tray so the melting ice doesn't run over your bar/table!
BTW, if you like egg nog,
BTW, if you like egg nog, Evan Williams makes wonderful, boozy egg nog. It's only about $8 a bottle!
OMG Aniki---yes it does. We
OMG Aniki---yes it does. We already have a few bottles stashed, Woo hooo
I love egg nog and do usually
I love egg nog and do usually buy a small container of it and some good rum for myself. DH dislikes both so good on me! Otherwise we get some good beer, Port and of course, my favorite, French small vineyard champagnes. However, I'm afraid of how those prices will increase due to tarriffs on French goods. I'll have to stock up at the store this weekend in advance.
Winterglow's delight
Winterglow's delight
1 pineapple
1 lime
1 slice of root ginger
Run all three through your juicer. Serve on crushed ice. If Ihave a guest who is pregnant, I serve this as is (the ginger gives it a kick so you don't miss the alcohol). For everyone else, I add a slosh of gin and stir ...
These all sound YUMMY!! Here
These all sound YUMMY!! Here are 2 that I found:
Thanksgiving:
Cranberry Apple Mule:
When ready to serve, fill two mule cups (or the like) half way each with shaved ice. Into each cup add: half vodka, half cran-apple juice. Add desired amount of cranberry simple syrup to each. Top off with ginger beer.
Christmas:
Mistletoe Margaritas
In a medium bowl, toss cranberries with 1 tablespoon lime juice. Drain out lime juice, then toss with 2 tablespoons sugar. Pour onto a baking sheet to dry.
Combine remaining sugar with salt on a shallow plate and mix to combine. Using the lime wedge, wet rim of each glass, then dip in sugar salt mixture.
Combine cranberry juice, tequila, triple sec, remaining 1/2 cup lime juice, and ice in a large blender, working in batches if necessary. Blend until smooth.
Pour into prepared glasses and garnish with a sprig of mint and a couple sugared cranberries.
I've had both of those and
