Interesting find this weekend

My son was missing a hoodie. He said he hasn't seen it since Christmas, and asked if it could have been put in SS's room. They wear the same size, so I said it was possible- go look.

BS came down stairs a couple of minutes later and handed me a refill pack for a vape. He said it was in one of the drawers also stuffed with food. We have a strict no food in rooms policy- I honestly don't know what pissed me off more- Food being shoved in a dresser or knowing that SS was vaping at our house. 

Now we have to decide what to do with it. I want to make his bed up and leave it right on the pillow with a note saying "You forgot something last time you were here" and see what happens. DH said he just wants to do a bag search first. Either way, I am not surprised in the least. The little drunk also vapes. I am sure mommy is super proud.

I'm sure he's her little prodigy. I wonder what she'll do with her life when she can't eff with y'all and he ages out.

Ugh the vaping. SS17 has been caught numerous times. First time (almost 2 years ago) BM went in to "omgggg my baby needs rehab urgghrhrhrhrh." There was a driveway convo about that... 

Then the latest time (few months ago) she was pretty much telling SO that it was ok and she has some older friends and it helps them a lot. Like wtfff.... I blogged about that convo. This was a nicotine vape not a thc one. The other ones were thc vapes. 
 

SO found a wrapper under his bed the other day actually and made him piss test with one of that at home ones we have. SS17 wasn't happy about this but, was clean. 
 

Is it worth it to bring it up to BM? Will she just accuse one of the other kids in the house? 
 

Maybe just send SS a text saying.. hey we found this in your room etc and tell him your concerns about vaping in general. He probably won't respond but, at least he will be aware he got caught.

I find the vape pens in the dryer, along with lighters. I usually take a pic, send it to DH then I sent him pics of dryer fires caused by lighters, I don't know if vape pens are flammable also. He tells me to throw it away and then he does nothing.

So I would say send a pic to BM to say look what SS forgot but sounds like she is similar to DH and would take no action.
