Doctors Notes from EDS appointment

The notes from SS14's "EDS Diagnosis" were up on the patient portal. Sure enough so much of the things were lies.

- SS's 1/2 brother having EDS and Juvenile Arthritis (He does not have either of those, his SM and Dad are pissed right now, I sent them a screenshot of what was written)

- SS is SOOO tired and lethargic yet he goes to bed 8 pm (LIE. Just going to call that for BS. When he was still text DH it would be at 11 pm his time and whenever he is with us, he won’t go to bed until after 2 am)

- SS's hip was dislocated at basketball practice- (Called the school, spoke to the principal, she said she was not aware. She called the coach, he said that it didn't happen)

- BM stated that he was diagnosed with EDS as a baby at the military hospital (BM wouldn't even let SS be seen on base, she didn't trust military doctors)

-BM stated SHE has EDS now… Yeah right.

There was more but it was so frustrating to ready. I e-mailed the hospital social worker about our fears and frustrations that the Dr. wouldn't even listen to my DH and stated that she was just going to take BM's word for it all. The social worker to us to call CPS.

The problem we have is that the GAL specifically stated we shouldn't contact the police for welfare checks or CPS. We sent everything to our lawyer.... of course we are still waiting to hear back from our crap from last week that we haven't heard back on either.

Oh, and still no answer on the cruise that we are leaving for in 4 days.

File a complaint.  Most doctors nowadays are connected with a large hospital system, and there will be someone up the chain that you can complain to.  That's not in any of the categories that you have been told not to do.

We are taking it up within the hospital. We are in that process now. DH has a conference call scheduled for Friday afternoon.... while we are in the car driving to Florida! LOL Oh well... at least it is happening.

I am just frustrated that we aren't supposed to call CPS. I mean, can that really be a thing? We haven't ever done it before, so it isn't like there is some history of false claims.

Well, I think your attorney is afraid that it will make you guys look bad and vindictive, and he has a point.  It can probably wait until after the cruise, anyway, it's not like he's in imminent danger, it's more long-term danger.

So will the half brother's dad and SM, and the basketball coach, be documenting the actual facts?  I would ask both of them to do so in writing to provide to the doctor and hospital.  I assume your DH can provide an affidavit that SS was never seen at the military hospital and that he has no knowledge of any such diagnosis. Was your DH deployed then or would he have actual knowledge of SS's doctor visits as a baby?  Can you get base records showing no record of him?

Enjoy your cruise - BM might have gone too far this time.

1/2 brothers dad and SM are willing to help now. I am sure that if summoned we can get the school to cooperate. They were not very willing at the begining of the year but if summoned I don't think they have much of a choice.

No, DH wasn't deployed when SS was a baby. He was only on 1 deployment while SS was even little and it was  3 months. SS18's issues kept Dh from going far for long. BM was/is SO against military doctors though. That whole thing was a joke.
