Reading a thread on General Discussion about wanting to keep your own laptop safe from skids, made me think about something I did this past week. SD15 uses OUR laptop whenever she's at our house (which, thankfully & blessedly she hasn't been at our house for over 2 months since she was banned for her latest crap she pulled).

And I've noticed that the crap she puts on OUR laptop is mostly stupid pictures of herself (cuz she is ALL about taking pictures of herself) and friends. These pictures are always one of 2 stupid expressions: the duckface with deuces, OR mouth open wide & tongue sticking out with deuces.

The last thing I want to be clogging up our laptop are these ugly-ass pictures of the hateful little troll, especially making these faces that show just what an ugly little troll she is.

So. I deleted them...all of them. Didn't say anything to anyone about it....just did it.

Whenever she's allowed to come back to our home and goes to look for those photos, guess what I plan to say?

Really....let's have fun with this....I know what I'm going to say....what would YOU like to say if you were me???

Oh, I saw all those pictures, I thought the computer got a virus or something, so I deleted them all.

when sd was 14, i got up one morning and saw that she had changed the screen on the computer that bd and i use to a purple background with green letters, and the screen saver was a picture of her and her friend showing most of their asses with thongs in them. yeah. 14. and she leaves that shit right out where everyone, including her father, can see it. stupid, stupid little bitch. everything, right down the screen saver on our computer, HAS to be about her.

That shit would not fly with me. I'd have deleted her little ASS picture and password protected the computer so she couldn't even use it! But...I'm evil that way.

I'm just SO incredibly sick of seeing her stupid face...anywhere...anytime...in pictures, in my home...on my planet!

i know how you feel. i can happily say that the only picture with her irritating, fake face in it is in our family picture, and that will be covered up next year when we get new ones that she won't be in! (i think at 20 with a bf and baby, if she wants family pics, she can get her own). she isn't here much anymore, but when she is, she always gets on the computer. she only has access to one at school, so she likes to take advantage of ours when she's here. since she has a habit of showing up with no warning, i shut it down when i leave so that she can't just log right on to my account and get into my email, fb, etc. and i'm sure she would. a couple years ago, i got a different phone. i caught her going thru my old one trying to read text messages. nosy bitch. i had already cleared everything out of that phone, so he little plan got shot down. man, i hate that bitch.

Thank God SD will NEVER be allowed to use my laptop. I use it for work, so nope, can't have her using it. DH keeps threatening to get a home computer for her, but I know he'll never actually do that.

That said, to answer your post...."Those were of you? (innocent blinking) I thought someone downloaded still pics of The Bride of Frankenstein. So sorry.

LMAO - good deal. My SDsoontobe14 isn't allowed to TOUCH our laptop or digital cameras, at all, period. But my DD, 14, is, because she's responsible with them. Of course, that burns SD but oh well. If you take care of stuff and don't do stupid shit, I'd let you but since every time you pick something up it ends up on the floor, forget it!

Oh geez. I think it is an age thing. Teen girls pose and pout their way like we used to in front of the mirror. Now there is a more permenent way of 'cherishing the moment'.

I had a little chat to my DD about posting pictures on the internet a few years ago. I asked her how would she like some guy living in his mothers basement dressed in only a t shirt to be pleasuring himself while looking at the pictures? She laughed at me but the pictures got removed pretty quickly.

just.tired, tell her that as this is your computer she may not store her own photos in it. She can
buy her own computer and do so to her hearts content. Can't afford it? Ooops! Not your fault. But nothing vaguely suggestive will be kept on your computer. If someone saw the stuff and depending on the shock value you could be reported for being in the possession of child porn. Another good reason to delete it all!

We have one desktop computer upstairs that SD can use. Any other of the computers are off limits!! I have an Ipad that is off limits to everyone, and I let SO use my laptop computer when he wants to surf the net. We all have smart phones as well. SD would just pick up SO's phone and go through it and download all these BS games on it. He had no problem with it. Untill I told him no more texting from me untill he locked down his phone so SD couldn't snoop through it.

OMG, right!!!! SD15 for as long as I've known her has just felt it was perfectly okay to pick up DH's Blackberrry (now smartphone) and do whatever she wanted with it: download games, look at pictures he's taken.....TAKE PICTURES OF HERSELF (see my previous blog about her and always taking pictures of herself). Why does ANY child think it's okay to just pick up something that doesn't belong to them and snoop away???? Wtf? Seriously.
