AdultSkid has finally moved out. I'm free at last, Hallelujah! I feel as though a mighty weight has lifted off of me. I have been waiting for this day to come for a very long time.. I pray that my resentments will improve and I'll be able to stand having AdultSkid over for Christmas and the like. We won't have anywhere for AdultSkid to sleep so I won't have to worry about AdultSkid overstaying a welcome. Has anyone else felt less frustrated angry resentful after an AdultSkid moves out? AdultSkid is awful in a lot of ways. I don't know of that will change with time.

No but I am sooo looking forward to the day visitation ends and I don't have to have SD sleeping over!!!

Congrats.  I popped champagne it felt that good.

Now, just keep them out for good.

Im still not at the point where holidays will be comfortable but maybe someday, who knows.

When SD22 Feral Forger (then 18 and graduated high school) got her first real job a few towns over, and started sleeping somewhere else (never officially moved out, nor any communication, which is her MO - she left her entire room a pigsty with all her sh!t) it was unbelievable how the energy changed. My relationship with DH improved hugely, because he was angry at her but hopeful and defensive.

Since then shes moved into Toxic Troll Bm's gross apartment and sleeps on a couch. Still no drivers license, but thats not our problem.

NOW, with SD15 Backstabber Im going to push for her to start driving ASAP. And get a job ASAP. Because lazy kids I will no longer support.
