Sometimes it really can work

So I thought I would share this story.

Just had a client come in and we were talking and she mentioned her SS and that he was really awesome. She is really good friends with BM and even spends time with BM. They go out to eat, vacation together, etc. My jaw had to be picked up off the floor. I told her she was blessed. My boss starts laughing and says, exhausted, is that something you would do with BM. I paused, looked at him, blinked and just laughed out loud. Client says, or you have one of those BMs. LOL

I have said it before and I'll say it again, there are several people in here that I wish were the BM. But then, DH probably wouldn't have left if BM was a decent human being.

This one guy at work has a great r'ship with BM. When they were married, BM told him that she didn't want to be married anymore, no hate, no cheating, they split and moved on. The guy has a new wife and the 3 of them work all together.

He tells me that he will hear horror stories from coworkers and thanks his lucky stars for what he has.

The vacation thing would be a bit much, but neither DH nor I have a problem with his first wife, we just have completely different life styles, so we don't mingle.

BM2, on the other hand, is truly an awful person. DH can let go of the things she did in the past, but he cannot be in the same room with the person that she IS.
