It's been your typical week, not really a special week...but for some reason I was ultra-annoyed...

It was my son's 13th Birthday on Thursday... SS8 decides he's sick on Thursday, so Daddy has to go get him from school early...but alas...he is NOT sick, he just know's my son will be getting the attention....and he wants all Dada's attention... (and Dada know's this...thank god).. So then during the Birthday Dinner, SS won't shut up about how his Dada felt when he was born, what time he was born, how his Mommy and Daddy are still together etc etc... I just had to shut him up, but even DH was annoyed...so we sat there all annoyed, and inadvertently ruined my son's bd dinner... Then Friday morning whilst getting ready for work I say, SS8 did you have your breakfast yet this morning? To which he replied "Daddy is taking me out for breakfast this morning"..??!!?!?!?! I was sooo pissed off, but DH felt SS needed special time because he felt left out..! WTF? Whatever, he is such a sucky sucky kid. So after DH see's I am annoyed, he takes my son too... ok, so whatever... Sunday DH announces he's taking SS8 to the mall for lunch.. I say "Have fun on your love fest"... which of course didn't go over well...but whatever.. Come on people!? am I missing something here? Does he need all of the attention ALL of the time? I told DH he should teach SS8 that when it's someone else's bd, it's not about him. At our daughters bd that is all he did also, and needed special time so daddy waddy and buddy wuddy could bond... gag me with a spoon.

I just had to get that off my chest... so glad he is with his Mommy this week.. wanted to yell out "Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out"... but I didn't....
