Wow..Beaver is certainly riding the pity train these days.

Another school day off and another drama.

Friday is good Friday..and thus SD has no school.  DH trying to lessen the amount of time that SD misses from school scheduled her dentist appointment for Friday morning.  SD is with Beaver this week, after being with use for 3 weeks and comes back to our house at 8 a.m. on Friday morning.  The dentist appointment is set for 8:00 a.m.  

Normally, Beaver drops off SD at our house before work around 6:30 a.m. or so.  That means the 8 a.m. dentist appointment is no problem.  Now, Beaver has not attended any dentist appointments in years and DH handles all Dr, Dentist, eye Dr appointments. 

DH gets a text message from Beaver informing him that she would take SD to the dentist on Friday and then drop her off at school.  Dh was like..huh...why now...but ok whatever.  Dh then talks to SD on why all of sudden her mom was going to the dentist..

SD..responds back..."Because you had me for 3 weeks and she wants to spend that bit of time with me."

DH...told SD ...you mom does realize that she can't go back there with you...so she is going to spend time with you when?  Also, you mom does realize that you don't have school on Friday.

DH then sends a text message to Beaver telling her that SD doesn't have school on Friday and that he will just take her home from the dentist since there is no need for Beaver to drop her off at school.

Beaver responded with..

"Well I was going to spend time with SD since you had her for 3 weeks. But since she doesn't have school and you will take her home after the dentist there is no need for me to go to the dentist.  I will drop off SD at your house in the morning before I go to work.  I don't need to go to the dentist its only a cleaning."

Oh lordy....should we feel sorry for Beaver...she couldn't spend that precious time after the dentist with SD.  I mean that 5 minute ride to the school would make all the difference.  (The dentist is 1.2 miles from the school.  SD could walk there).  My guess is Beaver was going to take SD to breakfast after the dentist and take her to school really really late and blame it on the dentist appointment and hope that DH doesn't notice that Sd was out of school for half a day. Dh and the school day off foiled her plans....and now eveyone lets give Beaver a collective...AWWWWWWWW.

Also please, note while DH had SD for three weeks.....Beaver just had her for a week..not like she hasn't seen SD.

SMH...such a travesty.
