OT- Kind of...

Does anyone else's fh have trouble answering their cell phone?! My dfh hates phones and I do not think he has answered on my first try in over 4 months! It is so annoying! I know he's not avoiding me because I see him not answer all the time! He keeps his phone on silent! He insists that we not have a house phone because "what's the point'? But I am a little old fashioned and when I am on my way home from work, I like to call and check in to see if I should pick anything up! Well sometimes, I will call and get a text back! This drives me nuts! How about you?!

Guilty... I have to have my

Guilty... I have to have my phone on silent at work, and I always forget to turn it up when I leave. It is RARE when people actually GET me on the first try. And sometimes I text them back. Not really my husband. I always call him back, but if I don't feel like talkin... you get a text. Better than being put on ignore, right :?

DH and I work in the same

DH and I work in the same office, and we text each other alllll day. People that work with us think we are crazy. "Just get up and go talk to her"... nah, I like to text. Half of what he says is completely inappropriate for the office Maybe more than half...

Man, I must be totally off base here! I am totally old school and didnt know it! I will try and not let it get on my nerves as bad! hhaha

I don't think you are off base. There are just some people that HATE the phone. I don't hate the phone, I am just bad about answering it. My sister HATES the phone. I haven't actually HEARD her voice in 4 months. But I talk to her every day... she is a text whore!

My dh always picks up, but I

My dh always picks up, but I have to admit, I am guilty of ignoring. He's okay with it as long as he knows I am safe. If I am traveling and I am supposed to let him know I made it to my destination and I forget (which I almost always do because I spent 15 years on my own and I am not used to it yet) and then don't answer, he gets very upset. He's a little bit of a worrier.
