Little background. My DH's ex complained when we wanted to implement an every other year christmas rotation. What she wants is my DH to come get the kids for either christmas eve or christmas day.. HE is always the one that needs to drive over an hour each way to get the "cherubs".. WE would like every other year.. so that we are not running around EVERY christmas.. especially since she REFUSES to help out w/the driving...

Soooo now that you know that.. here is what is burning my @ss today. Last night my dh and I are talking... and out of no where he says.. oh. I talked to the kids tonight before you got home.. I thought.. excellent. Then he goes on to tell me that the BM has not bought a tree for christmas yet.. WTF??!?!!?!??!!? its like less than a week til christmas... the skids are 9 and there is a 3 yr old living there (their 1/2 sister).

Can anyone else explain to me WHY this woman is so against us taking the kids for the holidays when she shows little initiative to celebrate the holiday?!?!?!?!? I mean.. HELLO!! she doesnt work.. I asked my dh .. why hasnt her dh stepped in and make her get a tree?? (he is normal... BM IS NOT!!!!)

Anyone??? oh.. and when the skids were 4, bm told them there was no such thing as Santa. We just ignored that and kept right on about the jolly man in the red suit!
