Reminder About Using Paragraphs, Punctuation, etc.

Exjuliemccoy's picture

No one died and made me the grammer/punctuation police, but we're overdue for that pesky reminder to please remember to use paragraphs when creating content.

Trying to sort through a wall of print is hard on the eyes, and some members will just scroll on without even trying to read such a post.

While it's true that this is a venting site, posters will get better support and feedback if their posts are in a coherent, reader-friendly format.

I`ve seen worse in emails from educated professionals, it is annoying but I`ve been figuring that people are doing the best they can.

Exjulie, paragraphs are KEY! Although there are some posts where the first sentence gives me all I need to know... Biggrin

Paragraphs make it easier to read.

Easier to read means more will likely read it.

More folks reading means more suggestions/advice/sympathy

Win win for all!

ExJulie - more than happy to share my grammar police title with you Smile

WOB, a thong might be a tad small to have "Grammar Police" written on it...

What's wrong with thongs?? Mine are quite comfy! I loathe panty lines. }:)

Remember? I am commando....

When I did wear them, I loved them!

And, if the font is small enough, it will fit just fine Smile

I would like to insist on the Oxford comma, but I guess that's taking it too far?

I just don't read a wall of words.
