SOMETIMES IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT WE WERE ALL LIKE THIS AT SOME POINT IN OUR LIFE.
Me: hey BS11 you want to be Freddy Kruger for Halloween?
BS11: yeah dad that would be awesome.
Me: BS8 do you want to be hannibal? I could wheel you around on a furniture dolly.
BS8: no I don't want to be hannibal.
Me: how about chucky. (I show him awesome costumes)
BS8: I don't want to be anything scary, what if I'm too scary and nobody gives me candy.
Me: they might give you more if you are scary, not less. What do you want to be?
BS8: I want to be a vampire!
Bs11: ummmm vampires are in horror movies and are usually scary.
BS8: I don't care I want to be a vampire.
I guess he is being a vampire AGAIN......

Vampires are awesome! Seems like sometimes when kids/parents try to be really creative, nobody knows what they heck they are supposed to be. Can't go wrong with a vampire!
