Well. It's here. We're picking up SD after work, and she will be a constant fixture in the house until the morning of July 5. My birthday. If anyone has any spare bottles of wine lying around, please send them this way. Not even one day off. I'm definitely looking forward to dealing with crying about missing Mommy after about a week. 20 days without any physical contact with a parent when it's usually split about 40/60.... who even heard of such a thing.

Same way I feel when summer break or spring break are around the corner. When that time comes I don't take time off from work that means I only see them evenings, then I go to the gym after work or come up with other plans. Makes it go by quicker. Feel a little guilty but that's how I deal Blum 3

Every now and then, on the weekends I make plans to see friends, my family, make hair appointments etc. I really hate to not spend that time with my hubby but when the S.kids (8 & 12) are around it's just not the same.
