Poem For My Skids
Their father missses them so much, but he is at a loss for the right words, so I wrote this on his behalf. Letter to my Kids : When the sun goes down....in this Northern town......I sit outside , and watch the moon......And take this time to think of you.......With every star that appears in the sky......I wonder if your seeing it to.......It makes me want to cry.........I'm sorry to be so far away......You know I miss you everyday.......Even though this is the way it has to be.......I send you my love......In my heart you'll always be.......I can't wait for till the day.....I look and see.....You sitting right here.....Beside me. I love you both so much. Dad. I hope they like it, I wrote them a letter as well, my MIL is sending it for us.My DH has been a little worried about them, now that BM is divorced again. He worries about the type of "people" she'll bring around them. I know it's out of our hands, but we still think of it. The good thing is, SS is almost 15, and is a strong kid, he has alot of friends, and knows he can go to MIL if he needs anything. MIL said she will visit w/ them again soon, and keep an "eye" out for them. I'ts all we can do right now, plus keep writing to them.
