That was my Mothers day "dinner" yesterday, and I enjoyed every bite! I did not do anything in paticular yesterday, my DH had to work, so I dropped him off, he thought it would be good for me to have the car for the day...he was right. I went grocery shopping w/ my 18 month old son. While shopping I treated myself to a "fu-fu" items, lipgloss,bronzing powder, and mascara...cannot live without them, it's all I wear, and I have skimmped on buying any new makeup,even though I really could have used some,the past few months due to $$ issues. It was a nice treat for Mothers day. When I got home, my other 2 kids called me, and they sent me some really cute e-cards.( did not hear from skids, but thats ok, did not really expect to.) Then I talked to my mom for awhile, I think my baby knew it was mothers day, he was behaving while I was on the phone :). Then I got "prettied-up" and went to go pick up DH. We bought some hummus from the deli/market he works at , and went home.DH said I looked really nice, and I told him my day went well. Then we just pigged out on the hummus & crackers and had a nice evening together. The tulips he bought me 2 days ago are starting to open, we are all moved in and comfortable in our house, and DH is so happy with our new turn in life. It was an ordinary day...and I loved it.
