Sorry, not a regular poster, but I am a regular reader. Just particularly peeved right now.

What's that you say BM? You need a break? You haven't had your kid for 7 days and you need still need a break tonight? You'll most likely dump him off on your mom tomorrow night as well, but you STILL need a break???? Okaaaaaay......

Oh, and you're too broke to my school supplies? It's amazing that you have enough money to go to the bar and buy yourself fancy things, but not enough to buy some pencils and paper for your kid. That's ok, we'll pay for it, just like we do everything else for him.

Custody is every other week and no CS is exchanged.

I love it when parents say they need a break (huge eye roll). Hey, guess what? Parenthood is a 24/7 deal. I mean, sure, there's occasional stays at grandparents or what have you, but you cannot count on that. You are a parent, buck up.

Exactly! And if you don't want to do it, get over yourself and let him stay with the parent who actually wants to parent!

Well it is called a babysitter for most parents. But even though I have my kids 80% of the time, I wait until the are in bed and asleep to go to the movies with DH.
