I was told by a mutual friend that BMs docs took her off all her script drugs bc she didn't need them and they felt she was abusing them. It did seem like BM had calmed a little with the bat shit crazy.

BM stepped up all winter and took SD to all ortho appts and other doctor appts. Since school has been out, SD has been staying at BMs and BM is taking her to all softball practices and games. DSO said she even worked the concession stand at the game last nite!!! DSO had been whining about him having to work the concession stand...I'm sure he was hoping I would offer, did it with my bios, your job buddy...and she actually stepped up and did it.

I'm happy for both SD and BM. Its been 5 years since BM lost custody and really was never a stable part of her life. IDK if SD would move back with her, I know it would mean CS for DSO, but at this point DSO could control that some of it went to SDs school stuff and her band activities.

At least it is finally a step toward freedom for us. In the past 5 years, we have always had to be aware that BM may flake on getting SD to softball games/practices, or that BM and SD wouldn't get into a blowout fight and DSO would have to end up getting SD. BM is the type to call the cops over stupid tween/teen drama fests instead of just disciplining her outright. DSO would go get her bc she isn't a bad kid, SD doesn't need in the juvie system bc BM is stupid.

So basically, even though we have no little kids at the house, we couldn't just take off for the day or the weekend very often bc something always came up to fuck it up.
