So SD is in gymnastics class. Shes been in the class for a FEW weeks and still refuses to let the coach guide her on doing a somersault or hanging from the bars. The kid does NOTHING that the teachers are asking and that ALL of the other girls are doing...SD is going to be NINE soon...seriously! Anyway, I had been so sugary, sickly sweet to SD all night leading up to after class. The class ended and she asked me what I thought and I told her the truth, that she needs to TRY and that this is gymnastics..the whole thing is about learning how to do crazy flips and stretches...and that she needs to trust the teacher blah blah blah. Of course she pouted then because I didn't tell her how great she did and give her a fucking gold metal. I'm sorry but why would I give her praise for doing absolutely nothing? The gym teacher was even frustrated that the SD didn't do ANYTHING. What the hell.. If she had tried and failed I would have been happier than just NO effort at all. What does she think gymnastics is? It wasn't her first class or anything either. I guess she is just used to all of the moronic adults in her life that treat her like the god damn queen of the world for being able to wipe her ass at age 8. Sorry..but I am not going to encourage her by telling her she did a good job when she didn't at all and didn't even try.

I have 2 children who are VERY VERY young and THEY get more discipline and REAL adult interaction than SD ever has I guess. And if it were my BIO children out there taking multiple gym classes and not doing anything that the teacher instructs you are DAMN RIGHT I would be telling them a LOT more than I told SD.

Ugh seriously...f'ing weak.

SD coming home today from her EOW at BM's house. JOY. I am so sick of her and her attitude...and her pouting!

Oh, and because she was with her mother for three days she will expect every adult to be constantly watching her do stupid ass shit and praising her for it. How fun!
