well, here I am...

I thought I would write a blog to introduce myself... I am the SM of 2 Skids.. SD9 and SS5. I had never imagined when I first walked into thier lives what this would be like. I have along the way learned valuable lessons, and patience, and many other things that help make me a better person, and hopefully a better mom. I have no biokids as of yet, but hopefully soon!

Our BM has been a peice of work, although for the last 6 mo or so really seems to have crossed over to "normal" territory. We still never know when it will all backslide, and go back to drama, but day by day we keep trucking on, and the kids are so much better for it!!

I discovered earlier in the year another site dealing with legal issues, and decided that a site for general moral support with the constant issues in a blended family would be of good use!

first, welcome!

second, i completely understand where youre coming from...i have a SD3 and since i came into her life at the age of one, her BM has made our lives a living hell...BUT since getting her CS paycheck DOUBLED back in june, the past few months have been "normal" for her. so i hear ya when u say we never know when it will backslide...i myself live in fear of this daily.

third, is that a boxer in your pic??!! ive got one too...her baby pic is my avatar! i just love meeting new boxer parents!

yes! that is a boxer, she is our 3yr(?) old boxer. She was given to us a couple of years ago by some people who just didn't have time for her, lol at least that is what they said.. personally I think that it takes a certain kind of person to be able to handle a boxer's drooling and energy!

We have her and a miniature pinscher and I want another boxer so bad...but we have to make sure that our "dogsitter" can handle 3 boxers, cause they have my DH's first boxer!

but shes bitty...only 35 lbs...very petite little girl. so sweet!
they really are the best dogs! i always wanted a min-pin too but i heard they have real "big dog" attitudes...lol! they are so very cute too!
