What to do when your employer attempts to make you take drugs? (o/t)

DH works in a factory at the moment. He was working yesterday and noticed that B (His coworker and BM's brother) and Nstb2's father were both acting "off". They were running all over and even when they were stopped were flinching like they had too much energy. They were also babbling on like idiots. DH asked if they'd done something before work and both said "No man, [Supervisor] gave us some stuff when we got here." DH rolled his eyes and went back to work.
DH was on his lunch break on the phone with me when "Supervisor" came over. DH turned the speaker down but didn't hang up with me (normal for us). Supervisor told DH "Take this." DH asked what it was and the supervisor said it would make him work faster. DH said no way, he's off drugs and plans to stay that way. He has a family to take care of. His supervisor told him to take the drugs or he would fire him, then how would he take care of his family. DH said no again. I could hear his voice shaking and so badly wanted to reach through the phone and shake the hell out of that supervisor. As it was I was almost crying hearing my husband have to go through that (For those who don't know, DH was a very bad drug addict when he was young but quit about 2 years before we met).

Who the heck do we report this to? The cops? The better business bureau?

Are you serious???? I have never heard of such a thing! Companies TEST for drugs, they don't GIVE them!

The Supervisor needs to be reported in my opinion. What about job safety? These are obviously amphetamines... speed.

I feel so badly for your husband!! I agree with the others OSHA, HR, Police- who ever will listen!

Police immediately and then he should contact the owner directly. Guarantee he doesn't know and would put a stop to it immediately, given the ramifications for him and his company.

What The F....

For serious?

I can't believe people do this. That is insane.

I am so sorry he has to deal with this, you never in your adult years expect to have to "just say no", don't people grow out of pushing drugs at some age? I would report him to whoever will listen...

I would go to HR. And then go from there. It is very common for people in factories to use drugs and for others to push drug use on them-although I've never heard of anything quite so blatant from a supervisor.
