I'm not complaining Last weekend she threw a big fit and went back to BM a day early. She said "I'm never coming back again!" She says this everytime however she usually misses a few weekends after. Lately she has been coming for 1 friday night once a month. She is supposed to come 3 weekends a month.
Friday DH had a vacation day to get some Christmas things done. Before he left to get SD he tried to call and there was no answer. I told him he should wait to hear from her because I had a feeling she wasn't coming. He didn't want to wait any longer because he's always there at 4pm and he wanted to be on time. He got there and waited 15 minutes, there was no one there and no body called him or the house phone. He came home and when my kids went with their dad at 5pm we jumped into the car and went out for the evening. We had a great night. The next moring at 10am SD called to say she was at BM's parents for the weekend and wasn't coming. DH was pretty short with her and asked why she didn't call. She said she tried to (we have caller id and no she didn't). He simply said "bye" and hung up the phone. Yeah, maybe DH will grow a pair yet.
