Good Lord!! My entitled powered up SD seemed to believe that I was going to use a bonus that I got from working at my job for 5 year to get her a car. That's ridiculious!!! Why the hell would I do that. She didn't earn it. I did!!! We were talkin about using part of our tax return if it's decent to help her get a car and that's when her grades and attitude were good. Now she has an f- in work experiance. Seriously!! Geez. Get a grip kid. I haven't had new work clothes in 5 years and some of my pants have holes in them and badly need replaced but I still buy her stuff she wants when she's doing good and this is how I'm repaid. Well see if I help anymore at all. I'm done. Good luck!!

Thanks PowerofFive. I didn't thankfully. And she's pissed about it. I didn't do as much as I planned to with it since financial times have been hard due to recent business changes but I did get a little something for myself. And boy is she ticked about it. Oh well too bad. Deal with it kid! I even am no longer buying her coffee in the morning because she doesn't deserve it. She can buy her own stuff. I'm done! I will spend my very hard earned $ on me my DH. And my doggies who always show me appreciation every time I walk through the door. Smile thanks so much for the reassurance that I'm correct in this. Smile

She's totally the "entitlement generation" and needs to be taken down a peg or two. Spend it on YOURSELF!!

Thanks auteur! I did and I totally agree. It's like invasion of the body snachers swooped in an took over my once appreciative respectful SD and replaced her with a spoiled rotten disrespectful unappreciative little brat!!! I'm soooo fed up!

Entitled for sure! We have been talking about getting me a new car, mine is 12 years old. Sure enough, SD20 called Daddy crying that her car is falling apart and breaking. She refused to get a job! He had the nerve to tell her that if she gets a job we would co-sign a loan for her. That same day, I talked to her and said, well if you come around once in a while and learn to drive manual, I could let you borrow my car (the old one)when yours in in the shop since I'm getting a new car. My DH realized that it was after I had spoke to her that she called him. SD was jealous that I am getting a new car and she isn't. She made the comment then that I get everything and she has to fight for daddy's attention. LMAO, I work.

Haha. Crazy kids. Ya seriously. My SD has some $ saved but she really needs to fix her grades and crappy attitude if she wants anything from us. I told my DH last night that if stuff doesn't change I don't want to help her with anything.
